Documentary
Intermittently worthwhile documentary takes a personal look at coming to terms with the past, in this case the lifelong rivalry between two siblings from a small Montana town. One brother was a star athlete who grew up, changed his gender, and made this film under her new name, Kimberly Reed. Kim’s adopted brother Marc, however, had it a little rougher – emotionally disturbed due to a brain injury, he was the “loser” brother, and so becomes the focus of the film, especially when it is discovered he is the long-lost grandson of Orson Welles and Rita Hayworth. As if by magic, that connection gives Marc his self-esteem (86 min.).
