Pink meets red at Pork and Pinots, a four-course feast at Meritage at the Claremont (41 Tunnel Rd., Berkeley), during which Chef Scott Quinn will pair pork-based fare with pinot noirs from La Follette Wines, Tessier Winery, Domaine Carneros Winery, and WillaKenzie Estate. Courses will include pork paté with sweet-and-sour Mission figs, pickled pork belly with fried green tomato, osso bucco with pig-ear salad, and suckling-pig pressée with Delta asparagus and prosciutto vinaigrette.
