When: Mon., April 7, 7:30 p.m. 2008
Price: free

He's a Berkeley Public Library librarian, but Alan Bern is also a printer, pressman, and poet. His book No no the saddest revisited his young wife's tragic death; his recent Waterwalking in Berkeley casts a wide net across art, eating, aging, love, Europe -- and waterwalking in Berkeley. Dancer Lucinda Weaver accompanies his Monday, April 7 reading at the Oakland Library's Piedmont Avenue Branch (160 41st St., Oakland). 6:30 p.m.
