At Pizza Antica, Gordon Drysdale, who made his reputation wowing the haute-cuisine scene, has shifted gears to become a pizzaiolo. On his Neapolitan-style pizzas, the superthin crust is everything: crackly but not brittle, covered in large bubbles, and charred finely around the edges. Choose your own or order Italy-meets-Lafayette combinations like new potatoes, caramelized onions, and truffle oil. Although the menu changes with the season, the other dishes that we sampled — including his warm brussels-sprout salad, braised short ribs, and panna cotta with huckleberries — show that Drysdale hasn’t lost his touch for luxury. Warning: If you don’t tolerate kid noise well, arrive after 7:30.

Hours: 11:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Sun.-Thurs., 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Closed Holidays.
