This is precisely the kind of educational program that students need to function in society, to be ethical people as well as engineers, to be culturally literate as well as merely literate, and to serve those who aspire to college as well as those who have their way paved with silver spoons. The brilliant and conscientious teachers and students here are saying "Enough" to your Reagan revanchism and yes to democratic and public-minded Berkeley.

Didn't Schaaf work for the Port of Oakland? You would think, then, that she would be familiar with the Oakland Police Crowd Control Policy that resulted from injuries suffered by demonstrating port workers at the hands of police.
