Peter Manso

When: Tue., Sept. 6, 7:30 p.m. 2011

It doesn't get much seamier than the death of Christa Worthington, a daughter of privilege who fled the glamorous life only to wind up murdered in her Cape Cod home with her distraught child at her side. Peter Manso lived in the same small community and was a frequent talking head on Court TV and other press outlets during the subsequent murder trial; he reads from Reasonable Doubt -- his account of what he considers one of the most corrupt trials in modern times -- on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Moe's Books (2476 Telegraph Ave., Berkeley). 7:30 p.m., free. 510-849-2087 or MoesBooks.com
