Re: “Understanding North Korea

These terrorists scare the crap out of their neighbors with their warmongering tendencies, kidnappings, infiltrations and murders, and then demand fuel and food when they can't even feed themselves. Instead, the regime uses the best farmland to grow drug crops at the expense of their own people's lives just so they can have hard currency to afford their expensive tastes. And when they need some extra cash, they can always counterfeit some of those good ol' U.S. Supernotes to keep the brandy flowing into the little guy's gut.

Yeah, the U.S. is chock full of problems, but I don't see much of the populace out in the winter clear-cutting anything they can burn as fuel to keep themselves warm and then suffering when the rains come along from those mud/landslides that wipe out food, homes, and the regime's narcotics fields. The absence of animals living above the DMZ and the current war-torn look north of the border has everything to do with the current regime and those helping to ensure that it stays in power and a buffer against the ROK and Japan.

These naive Pollyannas (or NK agents) should be thanking their lucky stars that they weren't born north of the 38th parallel and south of the Chinese and Russian borders. Juche--give me a break!
