This goes to the comment made by TuffRN, I think you are taking the article the wrong way. I am also one of the students currently attending Merritt College, honestly, this program is the worst possible. I also cannot believe that you can say something like "you wouldn't want to be assigned to your family member if your expertise was qustionable" Students were never given a chance to even prove that they can BE nurses. Students were pulled out before they could do anything; most students were told to leave after the first exam. One instructors specifically said " if you know you can't make it just don't waste your time and leave" oh yea these instructors are really "highly qualified and are definitely passionate about what they do!" Please don't try to cover up how incompetent these instructors are because it was obvious the first day of class how "passionate" they were! Nothing against students that have graduated already, it is great for those that graduated.
