Re: “Mocking Homophobia with Marijuana

The first Gallup poll taken on marijuana legalization in the 70's showed only 12% support. It now polls at over 50%. When the war on drugs started the government had an 88-12 lead in public opinion, the mainstream media, the public school system, every politician and every police officer on their side. The government has all of the weapons, jails, fines, drug tests, asset forfieture, and outspends their opponents 5000-1. Government statistics show that 7%put on the earth for people to lose their jobs go to jail or have their property illegally confiscated of American citizens consume cannabis daily. Can you explain why the government, with all the weapons and money, is losing against a small minority that's high half of the time?
I can: God is on the side of cannabis consumers! The war on drugs is unconstitutional because its against God's will. The fundamental freedoms GUARANTEED by the constitution are there for a reason; it's to prevent the government from making massive mistakes like the war on drugs. Simply put, the emphasis on individual rights is to keep one group of failed sinners from inflicting harm on another group of failed sinners. The cannabis plant wasn't put on the earth for people to go to jail, lose their jobs or have their property illegally confiscated. I believe that God's vengeance against our government has just begun.
