Todd (Josh Hamilton), a befuddled middle manager for an American mail-order company, gets sent to India to train office workers how to do his job, whereupon "Mr. Toad" learns a few things about the world and himself — awww — in this lightweight, agreeable comedy of global manners. Like drinking Pepsi with rock salt, cumin, and chili pepper and getting along with a lovely colleague named Asha (Ayesha Dharker) who wears cardamom-scented clothes and instructs him in Monkey Pulling the Turnip. Dig director-cowriter John Jeffcoat's knowing dialogue, as when Asha, referring to one of the company's kitschy products, says: "Americans have more choices than anyone in the world. Why would anyone choose this?" Ahem.
