Apparently, one 13 year old at Valley View Middle School was just a little too eager for the school year to end. The kid — whose identity has not been released — called police at 9:55 a.m. this morning, alleging a bomb threat at Valley View. After a brief evacuation, law enforcement realized the hoax, and the young suspect came clean, Contra Costa Times reports. Instead of spending two and half more hours holed up in a classroom, s/he spent the rest of the day in Juvenile Hall. Oooh, that had to hurt.
