OSA’s 10th Anniversary Celebration

When: Thu., Jan. 17, 7 p.m. 2013
Price: $10

The famously adorable kids of the Oakland School for the Arts can, alternately, juggle, tap-dance, sculpt, and deliver soliloquies -- it's a real-life Glee-filled delight. On Thursday, Jan. 17, join students, parents, alumni, and community members at the Fox Theater (1807 Telegraph Ave., Oakland) to celebrate a decade of "a school as diverse as its Oakland home" and the students that continue to fill it. The night will include a "theatrical spectacular" directed by Michael Sturtz -- founder of East Bay industrial-arts institution The Crucible -- as well as food from Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe, a birthday cake, and a silent auction. 7 p.m., $10. 510-873-8800 or OakArts.org
