The second annual On Land Festival celebrating underground music has announced its lineup. Held September 2-5 at Cafe du Nord and the Swedish American Hall, the festival curated by label Root Strata will feature performances by Grouper, Barn Owl, The Alps, Starving Weirdos, Charalambide, Oneohtrix Point Never, Zelienople, and Le Révélateur (Godspeed You Black Emperor, Fly Pan Am), among others. Local filmmaker Paul Clipson will collaborate with performers to create projections of live Super 8 films. $10-$20; $45 for a four-day pass. Apparently last year's shows sold out in advance, so folks are advised to get their tickets early.
