Frequent Express subject Dhar Mann will be sentenced next month for five felony counts related to pocketing city redevelopment funds, reports state.

Mann is the son of a very politically-connected Oakland family who was crashing around the country selling specious marijuana supply franchises. He also bid to open a dispensary in Oakland.

Mann plead no contest to five felony counts of defrauding the city and is not expected to receive jail time, reports state, but will be ordered to repay the city roughly $44,000 in fraudulently obtained funds.
