National Poetry Month Workshop "Poetry Lab #1"

When: Fri., April 28, 5-7 p.m. 2017
Price: Free
www.albanyca.org/atthecenter
Join Albany's Poet Laureate Rebecca Black in a hands-on workshop and build your own poems. Use all of your senses to explore each of the four stations - in the Tinker Lab, you’ll find paper, scissors, paint, clay and found objects to construct your own three-dimensional poem. Next visit the Poem Decoder Station, the Time Machine Station, and the specially designed annex for Totally New Feelings. No experience necessary; come join Albany's active community of poem-makers, word-designers, and emotion-engineers. Snacks and light refreshments provided. Rebecca encourages adults, kids, and families to join her and discover their inner poets!
