Murieta's Well is part of the Wente Family Vineyards. Eleven varietals are grown on the property: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, Mouvedre, Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Souzao, Touriga Francesca, Touriga Nacional, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. All grapes grown on the 92-acre estate are sustainably-farmed, and wine-making operations are overseen by Phillip Wente. Anywhere from 5,000 to 8,000 cases are produced annually, depending on conditions that year.
