Sara Cooper founded nonprofit Cubanabooks in 2010 to bring translations of Cuban woman writers to the United States. And this year, she brings the authors themselves. MírtaYáñez' novel Sangrapor la herida (The Bleeding Wound) won the Cuban Critic's Choice prize for literature; Disconnect/Desencuentrois a bilingual short-story collection by award-winning author Nancy Alonso.
