On the lunar calendar, autumn brings the Moon Festival: a celebration of abundance and togetherness that dates back more than 3,000 years. Celebrate by making calligraphy cards, decorating mooncake boxes, and listening to stories at the Habitot Children's Museum (2065 Kittredge St., Berkeley) on Sept. 27. Mooncakes donated by local merchants, along with green tea, are free to all. 9:30 a.m. Habitot.org
