Mistah FAB Drops New Mixtape, Announces Death of Hyphy

Oakland's premiere hyphy rapper, Mistah FAB, was all abuzz on Twitter this morning with promotional hype for his new mixtape, I Found My Backpack. "ITUNES IS BOOMING #TEAMFABBY ARE COPPING THE NEW ALBUM," Fab tweeted, apparently forgetting to release the shift button on his keyboard. The new joint includes 18 tracks, all produced by DJ Rah2k and the Empire, with guest verses by Ya Boy and Curren$y. It begins, appropriately enough, with a "Eulogy to Hyphy."

Update: Mistah FAB's birthday show, originally scheduled for tomorrow night at The Mezzanine, was moved to Karibbean City in downtown Oakland.
