Support your local artists and writers on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at BerkeleyCityCollege(2050 Center St., Berkeley), where members of the school's Digital Arts Club and contributors to its literary journal, Milvia Street, read and display their work at a festive benefit. Headliners include poets Dan Bellm, Jackie Berger, Sharon Fain, Melody Lacina, William Landis, Lisa Sitkin, Sharon Coleman, and David Alpaugh (sample lines: "If I were a Norse God I'd be Loki./If I were a dance, the hokey-pokey"), and artists Michel Bohbot, Jan Dove, Joe Doyle, Donna Fenstermaker, Jools Harper, Matthew Silverberg, Kevin Tikker, and BijanYashar. 6 p.m., $5, free for students with BCC ID.
