Vineyards and Harvest
The Malbec was sourced from our estate grown, organically certified Skid Row Vineyard. It was picked on October 19, 2010. The Grenache was sourced from Sawyer Vineyard, a bench land site overlooking Lake Mendocino, where harvest there began on October 22.

Winemaking and Cooperage
Both lots were created in the purist, traditional manner of making a rose´ wine: draining juice from crushed red grapes after 24 hours of skin contact. The settled juice was fermented to dryness in neutral French oak and small stainless barrels. It was racked to tank in late February to settle and was bottled on April 21, 2011.
