Medicinal Plants Walk

When: Sun., June 20, 11 a.m. 2010
Price: free

Perfectly adapted to the mixed climate of cool bay fog and intense summer heat, many plants that flourish along Tidelands Trail in the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Refuge have traditional medicinal uses. Learn to identify these during "A Taste of the Refuge," a walk led by Carmen Minch on Sunday, June 20. Meet at the park's visitor center (2 Marshlands Rd., Fremont). 11 a.m., free. FWS.Gov/DESFBay
