Re: “Shouts and (Art) Murmurs

Art Murmur has been a great boost to the City of Oakland. Because there are so many people attending the event, naturally, there became an increasing need for structure and organization. With success comes growing pains. Art Murmur in no way encourages a street party element. In fact, Art Murmur has raised money to hire ample security to *discourage* a street party atmosphere. The intent is the same as it was from the beginning...to encourage arts in Oakland. However, with the growing success comes growing responsibility and liability. Hopefully RPS will be successful as well - and learn to manage all that comes with the same.
