Re: “Berkeley High May Cut Out Science Labs

I love reading the comments blaming conservatives for the problems in Berkeley. Liberals have owned and ran that city for decades. I think the citizens of Berkeley have gotten just exactly what they have asked for. Berkeley is a liberals paradise, so why the surprise when the hard sciences are being cut back. Liberals desipise anything that undermines their world view. And since liberalism is always equated with intellectualism anything that is at odds with liberalism must be anti-intellctual. Which brings me to the liberal intellectual as a person. The vast majority of self-regarded, liberal intellectuals are products of the social sciences where conformity of thought is THE most important skill for ones field of study. They need each other to validate they're self worth and importance. The actual impact (positive or negative) liberals leave on a community is always secondary to the liberal intention. Intentions are far more important than consequences. The liberals intend to create a more equal enviroment that produces a measurable equality of outcome. The consequence is that the hard sciences must go. Just don't shut the basketball team down because there are too many black kids because that would be racist. I'm slowy starting to figure the liberal mind out.
