Re: “The Pinball Wizard

My daughter volunteers at the Pacific Pinball Museum weekly. When I recently visited her in Oakland, we attended an art opening on Friday, May 13, during which the Museum was open for "free play;" fifteen dollars allows you to play (repeatedly) every machine in the Museum, and there are free drinks and refreshments.

I have not played pinball since I was a young girl in Richmond, Virginia. I cannot believe how much fun I had in two hours! In fact, my daughter was ready to leave much sooner than I. She had to drag me out! The next morning, my elbow was sore from so much flipping of flappers!

Americans do love pinball, and that love has not died. If I lived in Oakland near my daughter, I would be at the Museum every weekend!!
