Mardi Gras at Terrace Room 

When: Feb. 16-March 2, 5 p.m. 2018
Technically, Mardi Gras isn’t until Mar. 5, but as they do in New Orleans, The Terrace Room Restaurant & Bar is getting the festivities going early. On Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, starting Feb. 16 and running through Mar. 2, diners can partake in a special bar menu brimming with Creole flavors. These “Bayou to Da Bay” items include gumbo with andouille sausage, shrimp, and oysters over basmati rice ($8); po’ boys featuring rock shrimp and fried oysters ($12); and beignets, dusted with powdered sugar alongside chicory crème anglaise. Get them starting at 5 p.m., and if you arrive on a Thursday or Friday, you can also enjoy live music while you dream of New Orleans.
