In 1970s Iran, studious teen Pasha finds himself falling in forbidden love with his neighbor Zari, who has already been promised since birth to another man, the neighborhood radical Ramin. Tragedy looms for all concerned when Pasha unwittingly endangers Ramin's life in local author MahbodSeraji's novel The Rooftops of Tehran, which he discusses at the Hayward Main Library (835 C St., Hayward) on Monday, Sept. 28. 6:30 p.m.,free.
