Alvaro Ramirez and Edel Romay will read from their recent publications. Alvaro's Los Norteados contains short stories focusing on the transnational lives of Mexican migrants in the U.S. The stories in Edel's book, De Cero a Zero, Cuento, also focus on boundaries, those between the reader and the author as well as boundaries within boundaries of human reality. Laura E. Pérez, Associate Professor of the Ethnic Studies Department, is the moderator.
