I didn't take part in this demonstration because I don't live in CA. But if I had, my personal reasons would be that I believe in a civilized society and freedom and respect for all people. The President-elect has chosen to speak with hate-filled words against many minorities, racially antagonizing words, and threats to do away with minority rights. If I took part in this demonstration I would be saying, Mr. Trump you are going to be held to higher standards than what you've been saying you are going to do and if you pass laws that take away the rights of minority groups you will be held accountable and the people will be heard!
