The mission of the Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS), at the University of California at Berkeley, is to develop model programs for teaching and learning science and mathematics, and to disseminate these to an ever-increasing audience. The Hall is a resource center for children, parents, educators, and policymakers seeking to improve the understanding and increase the enjoyment of science and mathematics. Current exhibits include "Beakman's World on Tour, "NanoZone," and "Prove It! A ChemMystery."

Hours: Open 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Wed.-Sun. and select holidays.

Price: $8.50 for adults; $6.50 for youths 5-18, seniors, and disabled; $4.50 for kids 3-4; free for kids under 3, LHS members, and full-time UC Berkeley students
