You need to be careful about how you position the BN seasonal slaughtered beef against beef that comes from other parts of the planet. Granted the US typically sees seasonality that hurts the finishing process in grass fed beef, but take a look at places like Tasmania and New Zealand for grass fed beef that finishes well with good marbling year round. Bill is a genious marketer and "seasonally slaughtered" is a grand new scheme, I applaud Mr. Niman for another briliant marketing effort. If he changes the way locavores think about grass fed beef, they will embrace frozen product at Christmas, and through the winter while Bill's competition will be struggling to finish beef and supply consistent fresh beef throughout the year.
