Missy Elliott just unleashed a remix of Lady Sovereign's new Def Jam single "Love Me or Hate Me," which recently jumped to #1 on the MTV's TRL countdown. Her debut album, Public Warning, drops Tues. October 31. While it's definitely cool that the twenty-year-old British grime diva is getting her props, she seems a little too socially well-adjusted for mainstream radio in the US. Now the question is whether she'll have to start a few beefs or cultivate some kind of fucked-up personality disorder to retain Top 40 celebrity status.
