Know Your Rights Summit

Organizations throughout the country are constantly rallying to make sure that the public keeps tabs on the Trump administration. But we also need safe spaces, where the communities targeted by Trump can gather, mingle, and discuss the crazed political climate. Hayward-based Our Space is a community center that provides support for young LGBTQ people, ages 12 to 25. This Friday, they are hosting a summit with workshops on self-defense, relationships, trans bathroom rights, and many other crucial topics. At the end of the summit, there will be a dance party for attendees to let loose, decompress, and have some fun. If you are a young LGBTQ person and looking for something to do this weekend, don’t miss out on this free event.

Friday June 30, 11am to 8pm, no cover, ages 25 and under, Humanist Hall, 390 27th St, Oakland,
