Wow, all this attention is given to the residents complaining about a race track that they have known is there and I don't see any consideration for the racers and fans that enjoy giong to this facility. The Alameda County Board of Supervisors has approved this facility for years and has allowed the tacks use because it is a desired venue that the residents of Alameda County support. This story is about big money, but not by the racetrack, imagine how much more the surrounding property would be worth if the track was not there. Talk about buying low and selling high. If you buy a property that is undervalued due to a poor quality neighbor and you can get the neighbor to leave it would make your property more valuable. If the track is closed I predict that the Rivards would sell their property for a huge profit. Talk about a hidden agenda.
