Gotta love Coachella -- or at least that big heap of goodness bestowed upon the Bay Area during the few days bookended by the massive music festival's two weekends. In this particular case, it's giving us an extra-special treat: Justice, on its first US jaunt in three years, at The Fox Theater (1807 Telegraph Ave., Oakland) on Tuesday, Apr. 17, touring in support of the fantastic Audio Video Disco. The band's first release since the game-changing/mega-popular/unpronounceable represents a gutsy sonic turnaround, filled as it is with prog-like chord structures, more focused arrangements, and a marked lack of the kind of flashy club jammers that got the Parisian duo so famous in the first place. But it's an aesthetic shift that could only work in the hands of incredibly capable producers, and not to worry -- it doesn't take too close a listen to understand that Justice's disco soul is still in there somewhere, and it's safe bet that they'll still play "We Are Your Friends." No camping required. 8 p.m., $40.
