Re: “Marijuana Tipping Point?

I think this will do best for California. Taxing marijuana will be a great support for the state. 1.3 billion dollars is estimated on tax yearly. That’s a big jump for the state. There are other reasons why they should make marijuana legal. First off it would come out of the streets and into stores. Its not taxed now and if it was legal, it would make California a richer place. I think they should legalize it because there are so many people that smoke it. I don’t smoke it but I know many that do. Its also known as an alternative medicine. There are medical shops all over California, which help the people by donations as well as their health problems. I am a very anti-drug person, but marijuana is not a drug. Well it is if its not taxed and its being sold by people on the streets. But if it were sold in stores, that would make it almost equal to alcohol. Marijuana should be legalized and sold in stores where people can benefit also the state by taxing it. More than half of the people in California are for it and not against it. That proves that its going to be good. Well I mean good for everyone.
