Re: “Prisoners of the Cosco Busan

How does a Bar Pilot get a prescription for 124 vicodin? I get a prescription for 30 (1 month), make it last 2-3 months, and STILL have to go back to the doctor to get a refill EVERY single time. There were so many mistakes made in this whole incident. Reminds me of the book _Airframe_, where Michael Crichton tells the story of an airline disaster and how many errors were made in order for it to happen. In so many ways this environmental disaster could have been prevented.

Re: “Only Short $320

It wasn't a red baseball cap - I thought it was khaki, but in the photos it looks dark, so it might have been navy or dark brown. I do remember that there was a difference between the cap and his black hair that I could see.

As of yesterday the murder count was 28. Sigh.

The victim of the March 4th Robbery.

Re: “Chow to Jack London Square: Grazie but No Grazie

Ouch! Well, we're hoping that Cucina Poblana (sp?) at least fills in the old Pizzaria Uno space. There's finally some sign of activity, so there's hope. Not "this summer" hope, but maybe Valentine's Day? Oh, and speaking of SFO Pizzaria - which is still the stupidist name on record for a property that was once owned by the Port (also owners of OAK) - well, they're no longer in the Kimball's pool hall space they moved to after JLS. I hear they left owing even local vendors. Too bad.
