They need to consider having actual kitties at the venue, as I have been saying since they opened. It's confusing to name your bar this and then people go there and there are no cats around at all—not even on the patio. I think it's high time they came around and gave their patrons(and the voting public of Emeryville) what they have expected: actual kitties/. Animals tend to calm people's spirits and put them in peaceful moods. As they say, "when the cat's away (actual cats), the mice (aggressive clubgoers) will play (brawl)." Do you think people would actually start a fight if they were worrying about stepping on a fluffy cat underfoot? (of course not). This is a no-brainer.
