I gave up vinyl back in 1984 when I got my first CD player.
Now, I haven't bought a CD in probably ten years since I don't see the point in a physical object used to store digital data, all I want is the data...

...but yet I've found myself digging through my old vinyl that has sat untouched since '84, and even recently started buying vinyl again for the first time in decades. Kind of amazes me in a way... I'm thinking that if my own compositions ever get to the point of being properly recorded, I'd want to issue them on vinyl.
