Re: “Hate Man

How ironic. The Hateman, who's "dropped out" from the media/paper biz... featured on the cover of yours to sell... well, whatever the current batch of advertised/promoted stuff is.

And "news"? He gets media coverage like this from time to time... over the many years he's been around doing his gig. Old news.

Yet, I notice he DOES give these interviews, doesn't he?

Re: “The Chamber's Candidate Has Quite a History in Business

Mr. Killian was, and is, a very poor choice for ANY public office, especially in Oakland. Contrary to his pure puffery campaign rhetoric, he instead PROVES his true nature in serving absentee wealthy "slumlords" that have been illegally wronging the actual community. This article mentions in passing Mr. Killian's friend, Darrel Carey, who also is on the same payola roll, as the tag team has been fraudulently and illegally perpetrating further wrongs on behalf of their monied patrons and, very possibly, for their own further personal benefits and gains at the community's expense.

It will likely be all the more revealing to any who watch the continuing adventures of these two in the Pineview Ponderosa Caper. And the quarter million dollar absconding of "community development" civic funds being funneled by an incumbent councilman directly into only a couple of private property hands, but with "back scratch" pass-through potential via "contracts" that just may be especially linkable to Mr. Carey's crony crowd.

Even more fascinating, considering the "forgivable" no-criteria, no-payback "loan" largesse, could be the players in the nigh inevitable eventual sale of this property and its pork-barrelled assets -- especially once the condo conversion gambit gets completed.

Stay tuned and keep the Killian/Carey Files open and current.

Re: “Alameda County's Homeless Go "Green"

LOL. How cheerful!

"has an airy, good feel to it."

Well, this sure does make homeless destitution sound pleasant.

How much did this "greening" cost and who made how much?
