Holiday Storytelling

When: Fri., Dec. 26, 12 p.m. 2008
Price: $7-$8

In Japan, temple bells usher out the old year with 108 peals. In Greece, New Year traditions include nut-and-lemon cake in honor of Saint Basil. Invented in Long Beach, California, Kwanzaa celebrates traditional African values including unity, creativity, and collectivism. Diverse holiday traditions are the theme during the Dec. 26 storytelling session in the Multicultural Tent at Habitot Children's Museum (2065 Kittredge St., Berkeley) Noon. Habitot.org
