Re: “FDA Warns Seven CBD and Hemp Oil Companies Over Medical Claims

CBD oil has been amazing effective for me for a number of problems (hip pain from a hip replacement, lower back pain, peripheral neuropathy, pre-cancerous skin conditions, stress, anxiety, tinnitus and sleep problems). It has either 'cured' or dramatically improved all those things. There is current research using CBD oil for Schizophrenia and is proving to be just as effective as pharmaceutical drugs in European studies (without the typical Pharma side effects).

I would caution readers to do as much research on their CBD oil provider as they possibly can to make sure the product that they're buying is what they claim. I got burned with one supplier who sold me 1 good bottle to make me a believer, then started to ship me diluted versions of the original. If you are wondering about the quality of your product, there are independent labs in Colorado that will analyze your product for about $40 to let you know what the actual CBD content is. Other tests for contaminants would be an additional charge.
Unfortunately, since their are so many unscrupulous people out there willing to cheat people in order to make some money, we have to be very careful.

My son was recently hospitalized for mental illness (I think from too much partying and not taking good care of himself). I am trying to convince him to try the CBD oil. It's a bit of an uphill battle right now. But I hope it will help. Research also indicates that the THC in marijuana can cause psychosis in some genetically susceptible individuals (about 1 in 100). I believe my son is one of those people.

My younger brother had a similar problem, paranoid schizophrenia, 30 some years ago. As soon as he got into high school and started experimenting with marijuana and other things, he began to get psychotic. Fast forward - he was convicted of a violent crime, went to jail, never got the help he needed and eventually got out of jail and disappeared.
