The gastropub concept (bars that prepare and serve top-shelf grub) comes to Berkeley in the form of this handsomely accented and reconfigured UC hangout. In addition to a variety of bar snacks (nachos, riblets, deviled eggs), the revamped menu includes a "loaded" pulled pork sandwich, a fried chicken sammie, and a spiky, satisfying Angry Mac and Cheese. Among the imaginative house cocktails is a refreshing grapefruit-infused negroni.
