Kevin Rafferty’s lighthearted sports documentary about the climactic game of the 1968 Ivy League football season may enthrall Ivy Leaguers more than the rest of us (we always thought Notre Dame vs. Michigan State in 1967 was the Game of the Century), but it’s fun to see the now-sixtyish ex-players describe on camera the way they remember the era and the game — even when the accompanying vintage TV broadcast proves otherwise. Underdog Harvard came back from a sixteen-point deficit to tie undefeated Yale in the fourth quarter, which for Crimson alums like Tommy Lee Jones qualifies as a “victory” (105 min.).
