Action/Adventure, Comedy
When last we saw stoners Harold and Kumar, they were on their way to Amsterdam to celebrate their epic quest for White Castle. Well, they get sidetracked on the way and wind up prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. But the "terrorists" escape and set out on a new epic quest across the South, desperate to reach Texas and an old friend who now works for Homeland Security. The laughs tend to be cruder this time around, with the filmmakers using their stereotype-skewing characters to poke fun at almost every race and social group across America. Neil Patrick Harris is even back for a limited run. Ultimately a fun ride, but not nearly as magical as the first -- despite the presence of a unicorn! (102 min.).
