The East Bay Regional Park District spans Alameda and Contra Costa counties with more than 111,000 acres in 65 parks, and over 1,200 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

The Park District offers lakes, campgrounds, visitor centers, interpretive and recreation programs, picnicking, golf courses, and more.

Our "Regional In Nature" activity guide highlights recreational and educational programs for everyone. The award-winning Trails Challenge is a popular self-guided hiking, biking, and walking program with thousands of participants. Our volunteer programs offer opportunities in interpretation, environmental protection, and habitat and species preservation. Come visit your East Bay Regional Parks.
