Devoted fans of the pop music diva and magazine-cover icon may find director-editor Sophie Fiennes’ impressionistic profile of Jones a thrill. But first they’ll have to wade through long stretches of the subject gazing out hotel windows and arguing with business contacts and members of her retinue. Much easier to take is the concert footage – filmed especially for this doc at a theater in Dublin, Ireland – with Jones performing her standards: “Pull Up to the Bumper,” “La Vie en Rose,” “Love Is the Drug,” etc. The Jamaican international singer-model-actress’ looks still stop traffic at age 69. But essentially there’s nothing here we haven’t seen before from her. (93 min., 2017, rated R)
