Re: “Everybody Loves JaMarcus Russell Today

The raiders have had nearly a dozen starting qb's, half a dozen head coaches and countless offensive/defensive/special teams coaches since RIch Gannon threw a record tying 5 int's in the superbowl. Anyone who can say, straight faced, that the raiders problems rest on the shoulders of any single player, particularly a young quarterback who has receivers that can't catch, lineman who can't block and a head coach who ceases to call running play's when he is in the game, must be a blind raiders fan who is unwilling to accept the culture of losing that currently exists within the Oakland Alameda county Colosseum. I believe that what we saw yesterday was Jamarcus Russell giving the finger to everyone who did not believe in him, everyone who betrayed him and the fans of a once proud team who booed nearly every time he stepped on the field. Jamarcus should have given up on the raiders a long time ago, the same whay they gave up on him. Take Darren McFadden, Mike Bush, Nnamdi, Mike Huff, Mike Mitchell and Shane Lechler and go to San Fran, Tampa, Cleveland or Seattle where perhaps your talents will be recognized and not discarded as they have been for too many years...and I'm a Raiders fan.
