Germaine Greer

When: Sat., April 12, 1 p.m. 2008
Price: free

The tables have turned on William Shakespeare. The world's arguably most famous writer is now a character -- although he's not the main character in Germaine Greer's new novel Shakespeare's Wife, and that's the point. The famous feminist, who will be at the Orinda Library auditorium (26 Orinda Way, Orinda) on Saturday, April 12, ponders Ann Hathaway, a farmer's daughter who married a future superstar -- who left her nothing in his will. 1 p.m.
