Re: “Kenneth Eugene Parnell is dead

On Dec 4, 1972 Steven and I were classmates, but, most important, Steven was my best friend, and was on his way home to get my birthday gift and was supposed to return for my birthday party. Parnell, a monster who changed many lives, and definitely changed my life. Parnell took Steven and his innocense.
I am now 43 yrs old, and a mom and I have never nor will I ever be the same. Stevens abduction changed my entire life. When Steve died a month after my brother, it forever changed my life.
Anyone who knew Steve, knew that he was not only a hero, but, the type of person you can be proud to have as your friend. I will ALWAYS love Steven, and now that Parnell is dead, I am hoping that this chapter will now close and I hope I can move forward.
As for the Stayner family, these people have been apart of my life for 37 yrs, and I consider them my family. People who do not know them should not judge them. This family has endured more pain then anyone should have to endure. They are a wonderful family, and Kay and Del are very special to me and always will be....
I do hope and pray that Parnell is NOT in heaven, he does not deserve to be in such a special place.. I hope that when he came face to face with God, he was judged harshly for what he has done to so many lives.
